of mothers, pumpkins & revivals

This evening, in every kingdom, the stardust comes pouring through the thinnest of veils. Our chances of transforming are best today…the bare trees foretelling our fate, the bright red, golden, and even, still light green leaves listening to the whispers of those that have come before us. That is the glorious beauty of Halloween … the smell of burning wood, the slip into the silence, and the listening.
Today is my mother’s birthday. I suppose that says something about her character. Her ability to phoenix, to burn so strongly, and to overcome all of the obstacles that life puts in her path. She is a quiet warrior. She believes in love. That is her power. And I am, perhaps the luckiest of pumpkins to have been cultivated in her garden.

{She is the little one. Always looking for the beauty that is under her feet, rather than searching for a heaven that is distant and unfound. {xo}}

Listening to: Mum, Go Go Smear Poison Ivy
I have so much to tell you, so many bugs to share with you my heart friends. But, today, I am stuck in a loop of faulty Chinese translator outflow. That is to say…. that I am working on the last two pieces for, hopefully, my last corporate client. I’ve decided to take a stand and devote myself exclusively to making art and writing artfully. {insert editing symbol here} Perhaps one day I will be able to make a sublime animation like this one. {Insert: Alex? Are you procrastinating?}
